Waiting at the lobby

I had the opportunity to go visit my family this weekend after a very long time. So needless to say, I was very sad when time came to say goodbye. They droppd me off at the airport and I walked slowly to my gate filled with sadness and tears. At the gate there was a large group of people, also waiting for the plane. Some spoke on the phone, some slept, some read magazines, some argued...I just cried.  Suddenly, one of my fellow passengers took out her violin and began to play. She played her music until the plane arrived.  Everyone was amazed at her and listened with intesity. She played loudly for all to hear and she played without stopping for breaks. This made me think about the process of WAITING.
We all eventually land up in the lobby of life, as I like to call it, waiting for something to happen. Waiting on the Lord to do His thing! To open the doors! We wait for our blessing, for our healing, for our opportunities, for salvation, for freedom, for miracles...
we wait and we wait and we wait some more.
So the question is...
What do I do while I wait?
What will my attitude be?
How do I choose to wait?
 Will I be a complainer?
Will I become depressed, angry or bitter?
will I create trouble or should I just pretend like it's not happening?
 Perhaps the better answer is...
I will relax in the Lord, be of comfort to others and enjoy the wait.

Let us be like this young lady at the airport who chose to play the violin.

choose life

Until we meet again...BE THE SALT AND BE THE LIGHT...
and don't forget to play your music while you wait.
