Do we scare Jesus with our Questions?

I had a fabulous conversation with my friend the other day who asked me..."Desiree, why do you think that the same John the Baptist that was able to baptize Jesus in the waters later was the same one to ask him if He was truly the Messiah? Did He not know?" What an awesome question and this is what we both came up with. :) How many times people hear OF Jesus but they don't truly know HIM. Going through the motions of "church" (baptism, Sunday school, fund-raisers, church meetings) but do not have a relationship with the One they are hearing of.

Here is the good news of Christ...

1. Jesus is not afraid of our questions!!!
2. Jesus is going to show himself to you and prove to you who HE IS through the power of the Holy Spirit and He will convince you through his Word.
3. Jesus knows that in our humanity we will stumble and our faith will grow weak-but he is near to remind us the He is the author of our faith and that he is the Lighthouse and the Rock of Salvation-our Redeeming Grace.
4. Jesus is not intimidated by our doubts and He feels compassion over us to the extent of a CROSS.

So if you are having a crisis in Faith or perhaps have a heavy heart filled with questions...don't feel bad to bring it all to the Lord. He will be quick to show you the answers and set our mind at peace-He will not judge you for what you ask; instead, He will shower you with Amazing Truth & Biblical Understanding.
