A Prayer for my Husband

Dear heavenly Father

Thank you for my husband

Thank you for his disposition to serve you

Thank you for his kind heart

Thank you for his willingness to help others

You know the thoughts in his head

You know the desires of his heart, his motives and his intentions

I ask that you fill his cup until it overflows with

Discernment, discipline and direction

Speak to him in his dreams

And show him the way to journey

Let his yes be yes and let his no be no

Clear his doubts and give him certainty with every step he takes

Let everything he touches prosper

May his footsteps always lead people to you Jesus

Fill his words with encouragement and authority

Fill his  mind with things from above

Help him to know that he is loved and accepted by you 

And that he might feel your presence walking side by side with him everyday

Bless him abundantly, protect him from those who want to harm him

Make him prosperous Jesus so that he might be able to sleep in peace at night 

Make him prosperous so he may be able to give more in your Kingdom

Make him strong, make him bold and make him courageous 

Allow him to see Christ in him when he looks in the mirror 

Allow him to be able to turn off his past mistakes and instead

Allow him to enjoy the richness of his future in Christ

I know you have great plans for him and I thank you for it

Help me be the wife that he needs me to be

Help me be a wife that helps build my husband to the man you have called him to be

Help me to be a bridge, a path, and friend when he needs it

I bless my husband in Jesus name
