What it could have been
What if we were living to our fullest potential, the way God had intended us to be?
I imagine the norm would be something a little different for both you and for me.
Our spirits would be joined with the spirit of our maker without the slightest separation.
Seeking to serve God in perfection, with purpose and as a primary intention.
Seeking to serve God in perfection, with purpose and as a primary intention.
We would speak to the menacing turbulence before us without fear or sense of inferiority, understanding that in Christ we stand before it in utmost authority.
We would lay our hands over the sick and pronounce healing over the wounded body.
We would stand our ground as armed soldiers in unison serving God's earthly army.
We would stand our ground as armed soldiers in unison serving God's earthly army.
We would pray and praise naturally without needing formalities or guidance.
Grateful for the hope of salvation and for this New Alliance.
We probably wouldn't complain as much, live in doubt or have sleepless nights filled with worry. Instead, we'd confess our sins, would let go and to God give all the glory.
Oh how different it would be if we were all living to our fullest potential. Maybe we'd try to put forth some effort instead of living like it was all inconsequential.
Be salt and be light to the world
