Dynamic for men: The Five Point Promise

Men of God...this one is for you!!!
The Inspired Word of God has many promises over the lives of men, as well as many blessings and treasures. It also has many responsibilities as presented by the Lord. This dynamic is a simple 5-Point promise to help Christian men remember the role that the Lord has set for them.

INSTRUCTIONS:  Stand in front of a mirror (in private if possible) and read This Five Point Promise to yourself. Take your time reading as you remind yourself of all that God has prepared for you.

A Man After God's Own Heart

1.  I (state your name) promise to love God above all else and to follow His commands over me and   my house (Mark 12:28-30)
2. I (state your name) promise to love my wife and my home as Christ loves the church. My love will be forgiving, patient, and unconditional. (Ephesians 5:25)
3. I (state your name) promise to be the spiritual guide in my home as God requests of me. I will look out for my family's well-being and I will be active in our spiritual battle.  I understand that my family needs me. (1 Timothy 3:4)
4.  I (state your name) promise to fulfill my rol as the head of the house-my wife is my helper and God is my head. I will lead my home with respect, honor and love. (I Corinthians 11:3)
5. I (state your name) promise that from this day forward I will take charge of my home with the help of Jesus Christ. I leave behind my Old Man...today I become A Man After God's Own Heart.
